Once a thriving herring fishing port and bustling with Kitamaebune ships, Otaru is a port town rich in history. Reflecting on this history, we offer a kaiseki meal prepared with seasonal Hokkaido ingredients carefully selected by our head chef.

Enjoy a leisurely time with carefully selected Hokkaido wines from Kuramure in a calm private dining room for dinner and breakfast, with free-flow wine tasting.

A diverse room service menu featuring local ingredients is also available all-inclusive, allowing you to savor it to your heart’s content wherever you like.

Meals are served in a private room to prevent food odors from lingering in the guest rooms, allowing you to relax immediately upon returning.

The main dish for breakfast is rice. Enjoy the Yumepirika from Hokkaido, which is carefully cooked one pot at a time. The milk from Akaigawa Yamanaka Farm is the pride and joy of Hokkaido. We prepare our dishes with a good balance of nutrients to help you stay active throughout the day.

Carefully selected Hokkaido wines

Hokkaido is a major production area for Japanese wine. Among them, Otaru City boasts the largest winery in Japan in terms of production and sales of Japanese wine, and together with Yoichi Town and Niki Town, it is a noteworthy area where about 40% of the wineries in Hokkaido are concentrated.
At Kuragumi, we carefully select and offer Otaru and Yoichi wines, which are highly regarded worldwide. You can also enjoy rare labels with free flow.
